Description

Guan Yu's patriotism to his country, benevolence to people, wisdom in life, loyalty to friends and bravery in war represent the perfect traditional Chinese virtues of mankind. His great deeds have been praised even until recently, but we can't help wonder, was Guan Yu's failure caused by arrogance due to his invincibility or because of his perseverance in Confucianism's beliefs? All these years, we've believed that loyalty and righteousness are impeccable. However, are they still worthy in the modern world? When we are pursuing fame and wealth, how do we choose between morals and desire?
