Works by Anton Chekhov, translated and adapted by Michael Frayn. ATS Productions presents a mucus-filled evening at the ballet, a crazy courtship duel, how not to dispense criticism, a husband's domestic misery exposed and a hidden identity – all in one hour. ATS Productions invite you to sample five of Chekhov's best, rarely performed, one-act comedic works set in Imperial Russia. Under the co-direction of Amanda Redman and David Threlfall they explore personal, professional and social relationships that still ring true today... all with a twist in the tale.

Highly recommend. Who knew you could put Chekhov and comedy in the same sentence?

This is actually 5 short plays, including one that has absolutely no dialog. In each, the action pivots on - what else? - a sneeze. I honestly don't know what I can say about this, other than I laughed hysterically through each one.

This show is an absolute pleasure to watch, acted superbly and makes the most of Chekhov’s work. Would recommend very highly!

A five star show, the best theatre I've seen at the Fringe and I've seen a ton of shows. The acting and staging are superb. Plus, it's Chekhov so one feels culturally enriched, but you could take a child or teen of any age and they would love it as well.

What a wonderful group of actors! If you like theatre (or not) this is a must see play. And I thought Chekhov was heavy stuff. Thank you for being at Fringe!

The Sneeze’s cast ooze charm and charisma throughout and bring incredibly vibrancy and watchability to it’s delightfully witty script. Superbly acted, funny and slick as you like! Fully recommended!

Such a well put together performance. A talented cast perform five sketches on Chekhov's themes of privilege, power, hypocrisy, the sexes, packing a huge amount into their allotted hour. Great fun. It felt like core Fringe material, and that is very much a compliment!

A fantastic, funny show performed by a talented young cast with musical accompaniment. The five varied plays culminate in a brilliant silent performance. Not to be missed!

Wonderful show. Great writing and skilful acting to bring out the absurdity, comedy and tragedy in Chekhov’s characters. Thanks so much.
