This show was very funny for adults and children.
I would highly recommend it.
I would say it was for 7+.
It was amazing!

I'll be honest, I booked this based on "Shakespeare" and not based on "children." It was a wonderful error on my part, this was fabulous. Excellent, hysterical take on Romeo and Juliet, high energy, some clever musical bits, just a riot. Made even better as the kids in the audience got all the jokes and laughed and laughed. Great early day show.

We saw this as a family and all absolutely loved it. Thoroughly entertaining and suitable for kids and adults.

Brave Macbeth is a brilliant show. I have taken the same children two years running because of the way the dates worked out and they loved it just as much the second time. I find many shows aimed at children patronising and of course they know this. Smashing Shakespeare is pacey and funny and the performances are all first class.

Caught the Juliet and her Romeo performance this morning. I actually saw this show in the Fringe a good few years ago and loved it so I was really looking forward to seeing it again. It wasn’t as good as as I remember, it was actually even better!
I think there’s been a few minor changes / tweaks to the script and these have added even more tfun & laughter to the manic-ness of it all( I particularly loved the Twister twist which I’m sure wasn’t in it last time I saw the show
It really is a hilarious laugh a minute production (Strange when you consider the 2 main characters die at the end…oops spoiler alert).
Flora Thomasson is perfect as Juliet and Ollie Hiemann is just as perfect as her Romeo. Both performers have fantastic chemistry and brilliant comic timing.
Scott Coltman is also a stand out as Nursey ,he’s both hilarious and drop dead gorgeous in the role, but in truth all eight cast members are absolutely outstanding with every single one of them delivering a comic masterclass. All the songs are catchy as Hell too and performed and sang well. Danielle Logan & Scott Binnie particularly stand out here when they sing their solo numbers. Even more impressive when you realise these performers are singing these songs without the aid of a microphone.
All in all fantastic family entertainment that will amuse & delight both kids and adults alike.

Don’t miss it!!!

I’m now off to book tickets for Brave MacBeth, if it’s half as good as this I’m in for a treat

Saw Macbeth show at its preview. What a brilliant hour. Well acted and full of laughter even during murders!! Great cast and perfect for adults too (I’d no children with me). Hoping to see Romeo & Juliet soon

I attended show to check for my grandkids.

I was extremely impressed by the enthusiasm and professionalism of the cast.
Indeed from the reaction of the audience ( young persons of all ages) they achieved their aim to entertain their target audience.

Highly recommended
