Took the Grandkids to see this on Monday, they loved it, we loved it. One of the funniest things we’ve seen at the fringe, and that includes Comedy Shows. Cast excellent, would recommend it to kids and adults alike.

Brave Macbeth
As a fan of all things Shakespeare, this was an absolute treat on a Friday morning. The story is told in a a fun way that really entertains and involves the kids while also providing plenty belly laughs for the adults. The pace is perfect for a one hour show, leaving no wriggle room for even one second of distraction for the kids or the grown ups - super joy ride from beginning to end. Huge congratulations to the cast for their energy and talent.

Saw Juliette and her Romeo with a nearly 3 year old today who laughed with the atmosphere and loved the songs. Clever and funny with a very talented perceptive cast. Taking him to see Brave Macbeth before it finishes

Absolutely brilliant - very clever, very funny, and performed by a hugely talented cast. We saw Juliet and her Romeo today, and laughed out loud all the way through (and much more than at a couple of Comedy shows by famous comedians that I've seen this week!) The cast are fantastic; they perform this so, so well (and in the solos, you can appreciate what outstanding singers they are), and they work so well together and with brilliant comic timing. The songs are catchy and clever; and there is some beautiful Shakespeare in here too (more than at other 'proper' Shakespeare shows we've seen). Indeed, it's almost a shame that this is listed in the 'Children's section' of the Fringe Guide, when we've seen 'Theatre' Shakespeare this week that wasn't anywhere near as good as this, and all the adults in the audience were really laughing today. Hugely recommended (and in a lovely venue too!)

Saw Macbeth with 2 11 year olds today and we all loved it. Brilliant singing and very funny, the tragedy was kept kid friendly. Amazed they could fit the whole story plus songs in 1hr and keep it understandable. The kids are still talking about Duncan's over the top death scene. 5 stars!

We saw Brave Macbeth. I took with me an 8yr old & 2 11yr olds. They all loved it. They enjoyed the audience participation & despite the amount of death in the story it was all done in a light hearted way. The kids were singing some of the songs later in the day!! They would love to go & see Romeo & Juliet as well as other shows by captivate theatre.

Brilliant show! Laugh out loud funny for kids and adults....Juliet was amazing, I especially liked it when she got cross. The portable "take it with you" balcony was great. The nurse was hilarious - was that a Monty Python screechy woman (Graham Chapman?) voice? Anyway it was right on. I was a bit nervous at first when the singing started but we needed have been- it was very professional, we all gave it 5 out of 5. Really recommend it!!!
