Can one woman single-handedly smash the hetero-patriarchy? Well, maybe with a little help from the audience. A queer, feminist and irreverent exploration of contemporary society. Expect sketch comedy, spoken word, audience interaction. 'An outrageous contribution to stand-up comedy' **** (BroadwayBaby.com). 'Unites all our queer hearts together in a fun, thought-provoking, laugh-until-your-stomach-hurts evening' (DIVA).

As a hetro-sexual man attending a show ‘promising to smash the hetero-patriarchy’, I was nervous as to what I was letting myself in for; however within the opening few lines it was clear the show was going to be one of the highlights of my fringe. Annabelski manages to combine the impossible by delivering a performance that is both edgy and shocking whilst remaining accessible. Passionate and well researched she educates the audience without patronising them, leaving you wanting to know more. Her humour was pitch perfect as she moved effortlessly from sharp one liners to carefully crafted story-telling, enhanced by music and especially enjoyable sketches involving volunteers from the audience. With her natural stage presence, talent for making the audience feel part of the show, provocative and inspiring message and laugh out loud material, Annabelski should be destined for a wide mainstream audience. Highly recommend

A revelatory show. Seemlessly emotionally moving, informative, and politically weighty, a fun and profound show about gender, sex, sexuality, inequality and privilege. Always warm, never finger-pointing at its audience, consistently engaging and wholly entertaining. Excellent.
