Description

Fresh from Off-Broadway, the sold-out, smash-hit comedy finally comes to Edinburgh. Six Chick Flicks parodies your favourite movies in one hysterical, fast-paced show. NYC performers Kerry Ipema (One Woman Sex and the City) and KK Apple (UCB Theatre) bring all the most iconic moments and montages to life with songs, dance breaks, and biting wit. 'This is pop culture parody at its best' (NOWToronto.com). 'A true treasure' ***** (Winnipeg Free Press).

My 30th and final Fringe show for this year. What a way to finish. The show was hilarious and covering the 6 films with well known lines and highlighting the stupidity of the storylines. Well done ladies - loved it.

Fringe virgins, first show we have ever seen, and what a way to pop our festival cherry! Absolutely fantastic. Outstandingly clever humour. Only problem is, will our other choices make the grade? Off the scale sensational x

Cried with laughter. My first fringe experience was a HIT!! Will be talking about this for days, a must see for sure! They did a fantastic job of conveying big social messages through hilarious comedy. Such talented individuals! Bravo!

I laughed till I cried. Super funny but also super smart from 2 very talented ladies. They cleverly included a social message. Please go to see this show- you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely ADORED it! So clever, super well written and performed to perfection! The references were on point and the social commentary was so accurate and delivered brilliantly through the reenactments. We didn't stop laughing and had such a great time! One of the best choices we made in the festival - go and see them!!!

Loved it! The two actors were brilliantly funny and engaging. Loved the references back to 'Titanic' and the running point about Men writing about Women's lives. Spoiler alert: they do the 'dance'. 10 points!!

Playful! Fresh!! Self aware!!! Our favourite show of the fringe and I truly didn’t want it to end. The actors were magnetic and the choreography / musical numbers / accents / mannerisms were all just fantastic. Can’t recommend it enough

Incredible - deserves to sell out every night! You don't even need to move chick flicks to be blown away by these two!

Stephanie Bell 50 days ago

Absolutely hysterical. Excellently written, non-stop witty observations and commentary about chick flicks. Very impressive talent from both actors, very professional, delivery was hilarious and the embodiment of 90s/00s dom come was spot on. Well in ladies, excited to see you on SNL one day.

Lucy T 50 days ago

Funny, warm and fast-paced. Stellar performances by both actors who nailed both the physical and verbal comedy. A slick and polished production - an Edinburgh must-see!

Very funny hour's entertainment, as these two young ladies rip through six different chick-flicks. You don't need to have seen them to understand the jokes, though it would help if you did, but I'd only seen one of them and still laughed out loud though the whole performance.

What a fantastic show! Booked to see this last night on a whim and we were not disappointed. The parodies were so incredibly funny and truly made us think about our favourite chick flicks in a whole new way. For fans of chick flicks this is a must see.
