Simply amazing. Great production! Very well MD'd, Deloris and Mary Robert, both incredible voices. The band well executed. The space worked well but bigger stage would significantly help. Wish the programmes were available/more visible.

For my final night here in Edinburgh, I quite honestly did not know what to expect when we booked, but I was not disappointed. These guys are as good as the West End. It was such an amazing production. The males in the cast had me in stitches and voices of the choir were outstanding. Well done to you all. We are back next year and I will be sure to check out what Captivate Theatre has to offer. Thank you.

Amazing cast, before your very eyes a young girl transforms into a shining star and an old girl realises what matters is sisterhood.
See it and go through the emotional mangle!

Ok so just on way home from this evenings show. Best word to describe is WOW just WOW. From start to end great acting, great singing, great music and great fun. Fantastic performances throughout the cast and one of best shows have seen ... including those in London. Hugely talented cast and you are missing out if dont go to see this.

Went to see this show on a bit of a whim yesterday, and definitely glad I did!

I don't know the musical version of Sister Act at all, but was blown away by what Captivate have produced here. Both Deloris and Mother Superior are genuine, likeable, and sing beautifully. I've also got to mention Aiden Cross as 'Sweaty Eddie' - having seen him as Gavroche in Les Mis a few years ago, it's amazing to see how his talent has evolved and how great he was as the leading man!

The choir of nuns were also showstopping, with the vocals both wonderfully bad (as they are supposed to be!) and then raising the roof when they come under the direction of Deloris.

Would highly recommend!

I was totally blown away by this incredibly talented cast. You would easily believe that this is a professional production of the show, in fact I think it beats the professional touring production I seen a couple years back! The vocals are strong throughout and each character is full of life and personality, from the “fabulous” Deloris to the ensemble characters. It’s a show you definitely do not want to miss, I’ve already bought tickets to see it again!

An all singing, all dancing miracle of a show!

The cast are phenomenal with Mia Oudeh as a sincere and grounded Deloris backed by a fabulous ensemble of nuns!

Max Reid provides both laughs and menace as Curtis while Aiden Cross as Sweaty Eddie brings heart and warmth in contrast.

The harmonies are outstanding with so much life put into every action on stage.
The minimalist approach to the set really allows the focus to be on the story and characters which sit at the heart of hilarious production!

A joy to watch that will have you dancing in your seat along with the cast on stage!

Filling all those who walk through the doors of the Gilded Balloon's Rose Theatre with heaps of spiritual joy, Sister Act is the tonic for the doom and gloom of the outside world. In Captivate Theatre's production, the whole auditorium explodes with stardust, bringing the raw talent and the glitz...

The disco inspired score is brilliantly performed by a strong band of musicians who do justice in performing the toe-tapping tunes including ‘Raise your Voice’ and ‘Take Me To Heaven’. A standout moment is the hilarious ‘Lady in the Long Black Dress’ number in which Curtis’ three henchmen mastermind a plan to woe nuns to the Bee-Gees-esque song.

The show is for those seeking a light-hearted and feel-good musical with big dance numbers and great costumes.
