Brodkin is an English funny man who did a great audience warm up routine for a third of the show before ploughing in to his material covering current topical issues for the masses.
A refreshing change from most Fringe comedy performers banging on about their mental health/ comedy acquired PTSD, or virtue signalling about the latest minority causes of limited or no interest to the masses. Brodkin plays it safe here, maybe because he’s a guest of The Pleasance who have a history of pulling shows if they are offensive…..Brodkins not gonna get cancelled, nothing controversial here apart from a dig at the perpetual striking of railwaymen.
If you like an old school comedian who tells jokes about everyday life stuff, then this is your show.

Really funny show. Great routine about "a poverty" of Northerners (of which I am one). Also hilarious about Harry and Meghan (H & M). Only good thing about them, that they p*ss off Piers Morgan!! He is very quick witted. Difficult to differentiate from his alter ego Lee Nelson!

Not seen Simon Brodkin before but thoroughly loved the performance.
Topical content, well delivered and funny.
A very competent performer who handle people leaving the show part way through with great professionalism.
A great show from a great performer.

Simon Brodkin is a brilliant comedian. Sharp, witty, able to deliver a broad range of intelligent humor without resorting to negativity and if critical, then also charismatic enough to get away with it pleasantly. He clearly understands good audience and was able to read the room quickly, adjust as needed, and make the UK specific material more accessible to his international audience. Never stopped laughing.

Brilliant show, we laughed from start to finish and in a room with air con, a winner all round.

One of the best comedians I have ever seen!
Brilliant material and flawless smooth delivery kept us entertained for an action packed hour.
I went to see the brilliant Frank Skinner the other night and Simon Brodkin is just as good!

Suitability is really 18+
English humour. Difficult to know about subject matter if you're from elsewhere. Very good.
