Shooglology

Fantastic evening, learnt lots about their new vision for their whisky. Getting the chance to make our cocktails was exciting with a few plot twists. Very relaxing environment in the newly renovated speakeasy like downstairs bar at Hot Toddy. Would definitely recommend for all kinds of events; dates, small groups or friends or even book out all the seats for a work night out at the fringe!

What an amazing night the best hosts Rory and Felix.
Had a great time making cocktails and obviously drinking them. I am not a whisky drinker I’m 22 year old that never had any interest in whisky and since the workshop I have not stopped craving a whisky sour !

Decided to try something a bit different from my safe haven of comedy shows and go along to Shooglology, it being the first time I’ve gone to a show like this.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time, with Felix and Rory putting on a fun and informative performance. There was the perfect mix of audience interaction and demonstration, leading to fun filled time.
I’d recommend to anyone, with or without an interest in whisky.
Very good value.

Not normally a big fan of whisky, but the wee smoky was amazing! We had such a fun night at shooglology cocktail class - at the end, we got to make our own cocktails which were judged & we won some little bottles of the wee Smoky whiskey to take home!
Felix and Rory were brilliant hosts and made the class really relaxed and fun. Definitely recommend!

We had such a fun hour, what a great new interactive Fringe show run by such lovely guys!
I’d never had a whisky sour before but it was absolutely delicious made with the Wee Smoky. Also, the chance to make your own cocktail with it is exciting (some were more successful than others, lots of laughter was included!). I would highly recommend going to this show and would be very happy to do it again!

Although I’m bound to be a bit biased as Rory’s Dad, I genuinely think that he and Felix put on a great fun evening.
At first sight the tickets may look slightly pricey but they do include 2 whisky cocktails (one to a recipe, the other with your own combination from a wide choice of ingredients).
I barely drink alcohol (and never whisky before) but even I found something tasty.

I highly recommend you try Shooglology!

I went to Wee Smoky Shooglology’s opening night last week and it was incredible!
The cocktail making class was great with a lovely atmosphere and a good space to make the drinks.
The staff were so kind and entertained us all and made us feel very welcomed- and wore very cool kilts and sporrans!
I would highly recommend and would attend again!!

I like a cocktail as much as anyone but must admit I’m not a massive fan of whisky, but this experience has changed my mind. Felix and Rory were great at dispelling the myths behind the whisky industry and giving an authentic tasting experiment followed by a fun cocktail making session.

This was tremendous. Whisky lover or not, the enthusiasm, creativity and tenderness of the hosts allowed us to laugh, enjoy some beautiful cocktails, to get creative, and taught us without bombarding us. Would recommend, could go again!

What an amazing evening! I didnt have a great understanding of whisky and wether I would like it. That was until I was shown how it could be used in cocktails!

An amazing evening. Rory and Felix kept the evening going and we're really engaging whilst also keeping it fun. 100% would recommend this to whisky lovers and those unsure about it!

What an amazing cocktail making class, for someone who isn’t particularly keen on whisky I was pleasantly surprised! The cocktails we made was super tasty, Felix and Rory are great hosts and help make the class really fun for everyone, the boys are very knowledgeable about their whisky and are clearly passionate! Its also great as you get to meet people and start chatting about your cocktails and what they taste like, I would highly recommend this to anyone as it’s a great wee night in the fringe, a fab time and amazing tasting cocktails

Such a great fun evening, I went into it very unsure on whisky and now have a completely different outlook on scotch whisky as a category. Felix & Rory kept things very fun and the workshop was really engaging and exciting: 10/10
