A Scottish/African group presenting original songs from composer/playwright Neo Vilakazi, based in Edinburgh. Blending rich harmonies, performed by supremely talented artists, the vocals and dancing of the choir were described as 'simply stunning' (Scotsman). ***** ( Inspired by historical events around the Shona tribe in Africa and socio-political turmoil of Robert Mugabe's rule of Zimbabwe, the music comes from Neo's multidimensional work, presenting a powerful cross-cultural love story… that transcends racial barriers. This critically acclaimed show was first performed and sold out at the Edinburgh International Festival in 2021 – get your tickets now!
