Description

'The men are gone and all has sunken into disorder'. An outbreak of erotomania is stalking the pavements of London. Among the abandoned young women, morals are diving while hemlines are rising. In the throes of all the chaos, it's every woman for herself. Based on the totally unfounded tale of her own great-great-grandmother, Polly Waldron's Edwardian coming-of-age saga is told by a mosaic of curious characters.

Oh I really loved this. Excellent acting playing all the characters and the script was good! I loved the stage set up and the way the very simplistic set was used. Beautiful.

The Scotsman (3/5 stars) 8 days ago

Like a potted Downton Abbey, Polly Waldron's one-woman show, based upon tales from her family history, follows the journeys of two sisters at the start of the 20th century – one who ends up working as servant and the other who enters the male-dominated world of medicine. ...
