Max Campbell (The Crown, The Chelsea Cowboy, Blurred) stars in this award-winning, one-man play by John O'Keefe, wherein the actor tells the story by becoming each of the story's characters. Taking place in 1956, two boys befriend each other in a harsh Midwestern juvenile detention farm. To survive the brutal environment, they create their own fantasy world where movement of streams and breezes become a language travelling between dimensions, a language they call ‘shimmer’. 'Rivetingly kinetic solo performance piece' (New York Times). Exorcises the pain and trauma of an abused kid. A show as ravishing as it is heartbreaking.
