Description
Baby Wants Candy's hip-hop Hamilton homage returns! Following sold-out runs in Chicago, NYC and LA. We improvise an epic musical based on historical figures/celebrities you choose (Genghis Khan, Paul Hollywood, Kim Kardashian... anyone!). Just like Hamilton but (ahem) better! Expect the same level of hip-hop, storytelling, stunning choreography and powerhouse singing... except made up on the spot. 'An absolute extravaganza, absolute pinnacle of improv. They freestyle lyrics that rival Lin-Manuel himself. Tremendously impressive, side-splittingly funny to the point oxygen becomes a luxury. Shamilton astounded me' *****(Entertainment-Now.com). It's the show Lin-Manuel calls, 'Cease and Desist!'Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. A great deal of talent on stage! Fast, witty and true to genre. Loved the characters. Bit too much swearing at times, but very enjoyable. If you love improv, hip hop and Hamilton, you’ll enjoy this.

This was disappointing. We saw the show on James Bond and the cast laughed through it all and it felt quite unprofessional. I would recommend going to see showstopper! Instead it was incredible and much more professional

High quality improv and was really funny! The cast and Hamiltunes (musicians) were incredible. Would recommend!

Absolutely sensational! Best show at the fringe by far. I have never laughed so much. Witty, fast, intelligent comedy delivered with fantastic voices and incredible timing. I will never think of Mother Theresa in the same way! Steal a ticket to get in. Returning to the festival next year just to see this again!

I saw a few improv shows at the Fringe this year but Shamilton stood out from them all. Quick witted, incredible voices and slick raps, it’s amazing to think how the cast was able to pull together a full musical , in this case Lady Gaga, based on just a few suggestions alone. 5/5

I have watched this talented group multiple times here and in LA New York etc.. I am always amazed. Musical improv, they make up a show based on audience suggestions on the spot. If you have not seen it you probably cannot believe it. But it happens and always amazes and entertains. A MUST SEE AND HEAR!

I wasn't honestly sure what to expect but the show was incredible! Great singing, dancing, and acting. You could tell that the actors were having so much fun
We got Wednesday Addams as our character and it was so creative and fun. The actress playing Wednesday was perfect for her

We had so much fun watching ‘Shamilton’. Our show was all about Wednesday Addams. From start to finish the cast astounded us with their quick wit and incredible team work. It’s amazing to watch them interact with different people taking the lead at different times. The band were also fantastic and so tuned in to every syllable uttered on stage. Go and see it if you can!

Saw the one about Mickey Mouse, and it was just PERFECT.
If you plan to see Baby Wants Candy, see this, not the evening one.

Brilliant and hilarious, filled with outrageous musical numbers and meticulously organised improvised chaos. I really admire the amount of fun they evidently have on stage and I died with laughter throughout.

Can’t recommend this show enough! The talented cast are fast paced, intelligent and made the audience feel like they were part of the show. Lovely to see the amazing band on stage laughing along with the performers too!

This was a fantastic improvisation show and would highly recommend. There are many other larger show stopping improv musical shows that we also attended but this company and cast have blown the others out of the water.
It’s intimate in size to appreciate the talent from the cast and band. If you can, go!
