One of the finest things I've seen at Edinburgh this year! It's an absolutely beautiful, crafted piece of work! And how many puppets are in this?? A magical fantasy that's humorous, inventive and drives along at an excellent pace. Catch it if you can!

This is possibly the best thing we’ve seen this year.
It is an absolute tour de force of skill, craftsmanship and talent.
Like real time Anime with a touch of Labyrinth, this wonderful piece is funny, moving, sweet, imaginative and so very clever.
The absolute love, care and attention that has gone in to this incredible piece is so clear and I was very moved by the clear passion these artists have for their craft.
This is an unmissable gem for kids and adults alike.
Our pick of the fringe!

The most beautiful and heartfelt show of the Fringe. It was recommended to us by Fringe giant Frank Skinner, who had seen it twice. Mesmerising stuff.

Just beautiful. We saw their show last year and couldn't wait to see more. The artwork is gorgeous, the storyline is fantastic, this couple's creativity and performance is perfect. Can't wait for next year!

Amazing show, it’s a beautiful tale & the whole story is animated and acted live, as impressive as any physical feat I’ve seen at the fringe. It’s incredible that this is the work of two people.

Incredible and riveting. I'm only sad that I wasn't going to bed immediately afterward as it makes a great bedtime story. Really well done.

Gorgeous as others describe, the story timely and unique. What really sticks with me is that I felt privileged to watch such a special performance by such passionate people. A true gift to experience live.

This is the best show I've seen at the Fringe in 2023. If the gorgeous poster sticks out to you - it lives up to that promise, and then some.
It is like an unfurling tapestry made of pure magic, creating a grand fantasy epic that is at once beautiful and hilarious. It has the dreamlike energy that its premise demands, and feels like a Studio Ghibli film in all the best ways. It's got a brilliant script, it's got beguiling shadow puppetry, and it's got DJ Slug. I couldn't ask for anything more.

amazing inventive, engaging, creative and accessible shadow puppets. 6 yr old and 9 yr old loved it. lots for children and adults.
Who would have thought you could do live animation like that with simple shadow puppets.
I would recommend without hesitation
