John Doe is having a bad day. He's dead. Or close enough to it anyway. As he lies waiting for his life support machine to be turned off, he relives his life, taking the audience on a journey to show just how he ended up in this predicament anyway. From meeting his best friend to (quite frankly) terrible life choices, this black comedy questions what is truly important to us. If you had seven seconds to relive your entire life, what would you want to see?

The staging was amazing, it was so simplistic in the choice of set, proving they didn't need anything flashy. The show was carried by a powerful story and an incredible cast. Look out for this bunch next year, would highly recommend!

Didn't know much about show before I went to see it. So glad I did. The actors especially the lead actor are superb. A tour de force of the highest professional quality. Would gladly see it again. One of best shows on fringe! Magnificent

Was convinced to come see the show immediately upon hearing the premise of those seven seconds and didn’t need to know anymore before seeing the show. Once I did I was amazed with the use of those seven seconds and how it added more weight to an already dramatic life story. The comedy throughout kept it light enough that you could make it through to the end when it did become harder to laugh and the darkness of the dark comedy really broke through. It was an idea that needed more time than it was given but was done brilliantly in the 50 minutes it had.

I could not more highly recommend this show, my favourite piece at fringe so far

I honestly enjoyed this show from start to finish; fantastic writing performed by a really talented cast. A play hasn't made me laugh so much for a long time. It's definitely a must-see if you have the chance!

I think I just found the needle in a haystack. This is what fringe is all about - finding the next generation of ‘diamond’ talent - highly recommend and can’t wait to see what they do in the future. Particularly loved the lead guy and the blonde girl in the chorus.

Absolutely amazing. The perfect balance of comedy and drama. A very simple concept but executed brilliantly. Would recommend to anyone.

This play was a joy, serious situation(s) leavened with humour while emotional buttons were pushed. I’d not expected to be moved as often as I was, the balance shifting, seven seconds passing. Thank you!

A brilliant showcase of everything dark comedy can be - I was in tears laughing, in tears crying - I would definitely recommend.

A deathbed comedy full of witty one-liners & swiftly drawn characters that becomes increasingly - and devastatingly - dark. Highly recommended!
