Description

Your worst and best possible self. Skirt-lifting trickster Goddess Baubo offers redemption for seriously deviant behaviour. Worship at her shrine. Bring daddy as a sacrifice. A whispering, shouting, call to arms. A celebration of outrageous women, their round bellies and luscious labia. 'Her oddly magnetic brand of weird comedy makes for a ridiculous and hilarious night out' (BroadwayBaby.com). 'A young Patsy from Ab Fab doing a twisted clown show' (TheWeeReview.com).

Absolutely stunning show. Comedy, clowning and performance art all are all showcased by the talented Serena, who takes the audience on a journey becomes both absurd and confessional. A show that challenges the audience but never loses their attention and is consistently funny. It's both heart warming and heart breaking and filled with love. Don't miss this.

Serena Flynn, and her counterpart Baubo demystify greek mythology, using it to guide the audience through the hilarity of shaming the female body, empowerment through Serena's personal experiences. This is a feel-good, belly laughing experience that makes you feel like you can leave with new knowledge about the stigma surrounding certain feminist dialogues (not giving anything away). Serena is a brilliant storyteller and takes the audience through highs and lows with sensitivity, uniqueness, and strength.

Incredible, couldn't stop laughing, Serena AND baubo have such great comic timing, it's great when a comic gets you on the hook with hilarity and then when the show takes a turn she's got you entirely on her side! I could praise her for years, amazing woman and amazing show!

Stumbled on this great venue to see Johnny White Really-Really...ended up being convinced to stay for Serena and possibly the best decision of the weekend!! The first 10 minutes was one of the hardest I've laughed in the last 3 days. Rest of the show carried on in that vein - but also managed to have some thought evoking and poignant moments. If you could rate this show out of 5 stars I would give it 6!

The Skinny (4/5 stars) 89 days ago

Serena Flynn spends the first ten minutes of her show weeding out the undesirables. For her, undesirable means anyone not willing to join her on a demented ride through aggressive physical absurdity. She does this through donning an oversized wig and bodysuit, wailing as she drags herself through the audience....
