Description

When government cuts hit the Department of Seasonal Mascots, Santa and friends panic! It soon becomes every man/woman/rabbit for themselves as they quickly sabotage each other’s festivals to keep their own jobs safe. You'd better watch out, the Claus are out and the halls aren't the only thing getting decked! Laughing Mirror return with a brand-new family farce, following three sell-out Edinburgh shows in two years – Guy Fawkes It Up, Framed! and Good Vibes Only. Previous Fringe praise: 'Could be the next new comedy to hit the West End' **** (Everything-Theatre.co.uk), **** (BroadwayBaby.com).

A real gem. Genuinely funny writing and deft performances from an enthusiastic and talented cast of young actors. If only all the Fringe shows were this much fun!

Really enjoyed this. A young, talented group that entertained for an hour with their wit and energy. I shall be keeping an eye on this group, well worth watching and heaps better than some of the other shows on the fringe.

A clever idea, a talented cast and crew and plenty of laughs combine to make this an ideal play for all. This group should be proud - they've created a joyful experience. Well done. We loved it.

There are only two days of Fringemas left to see one of the comedy gems of this year's fringe! Great fun with loads of laughs, terrible puns and brilliant comic timing. Hop to it and catch the Easter bunny if you can!

Multiple viewings and it never gets old. Laughing Mirror have got this kind of show down to a fine art. Go see it! Well worth the money!

11.35am, Fleming Theatre, venue 53! Get there quick! Don’t miss this genuinely funny, slick and turbo-charged farce about a Government Dept you never dreamed existed! The cast move as one on a minimal set and it’s a seamless, really well-crafted performance. Enjoy; I did!

Hilarious show! The concept and plot were really engaging and I loved all the interpretations of the various holiday mascots. The humour is a combination of daft puns, double-entendre, physical comedy and running jokes and the gags just kept coming! The cast are brilliant and all have excellent comic timing and range. I was also pleasantly surprised by the musical numbers in the show. It would be especially great for kids and families but honestly, I went on my own and had a fantastic time. Pleased to see this company producing more original comedy after seeing 'Framed!' last year and enjoying it very much.

Brilliant from start to finish. Really well written and polished, hilariously executed. Great fun for all the family. Can’t recommend highly enough. Especially enjoyed the Easter bunny

A brilliantly energetic show featuring a really talented cast. A fantastic actress playing Mrs Claus leads a well-rounded and wonderfully satirical cast through the inspection of the seasonal mascot department over the course of the show. The Easter Bunny's perfect comic timing, Guy Gawkes and Dracula's bromance, the April Fool's light-hearted humour, Cupid's singing and St George's underhand gags make this a family comedy well worth seeing and something for all ages.

A wonderfully funny show that will have audience members of all ages cracking up. The cast of fantastically weird and wacky characters keep you entertained from start to finish and I recommend that anyone should check's it out!

’Tis the season to be jolly… not just at Christmas, but at any time of the year. Whether it’s Easter, Hallowe’en, April Fools’ or Burns Night, the next festive celebration is never far away. And there’s no jollier acknowledgement of that fact than this funny, fast-paced caper – which takes...

It’s probably worth clarifying in the first sentence of this review that I was not expecting to be drawn into the bureaucratic complexities of being the Easter Bunny whilst at this Edinburgh Fringe. Such is Laughing Mirror’s Seasoned Professionals, a child-friendly (but also sufficiently adult) farce about chaos within the...

We arrive to a group of oddly dressed characters, wearing less than polished costumes on a stage with no set or props. It presents, one has to admit, a less than encouraging prospect. Then we all howl with laughter for 50 minutes. The premise of Seasoned Professionals is simple, there...
