An interactive game taking its cues from Nintendo iconography, with Princess Plum trying to escape from a turtle-ish nemesis? Or a play with more depth than expected musing on destiny, consequences and fate? This is both, and more besides.

The Undisposables arrive for the first time at the Festival Fringe with a truly interesting show. The audience use their mobile phones to decide Princess Plum's fate, making choices such as "hide or run?" or "join a gang or go solo?" which go on to impact the story being told.

The sheer weight of script which all the actors must have learned to pull this off is impressive, and the interactive element went off without a hitch when going to see the show.

A very clever technological idea executed perfectly, you only wonder what will come next. A choose-your-own-adventure spectacular handled with deft skill, this was an impressive Fringe debut.

I have seen this show twice this week, and would GLADLY go and see it a third time. Both shows were completely different, each with intricate and varied plots, one that ended with us saving the princess and one that didn’t.

It’s genius, fun, exciting and mad cap. Highly recommend that if you see it advertised, you go
