Description

Lucifer, fallen angel, begs God’s forgiveness. Are Satan and God within the eyes and deeds of humankind? Is Satan responsible for all he is accused of? Have we heard him testify? This solo tour-de-force opens a conversation about religion with music and movement and explores issues of religion, faith and humanity that are normally taboo and or censored. Winner, Derek Award for Spirit of the Fringe, Edinburgh 2021. ‘Original’ (LouReviews.blog). ‘Mesmerising, seductive and powerful… hauntingly beautiful’ (NicsReviews2021.wordpress.com).

This was a stunning piece of theatre by an impassioned àctor. He moved like a dancer. There was filmed action, a voice, lights and a set. There is good and bad within us. Lots upon which to ponder. The presence of the actor is terrific. I've seen him in white angel attire with massive wings standing in Forrest road and shopping in a supermarket. He glows from within. It's a brave choice for the venue. I saw this in person. There was a useful chat at the end. This ace production - go see. //

The video for this show does not show the full range of this actor's ability. There is the grace, the stillness, the sensitivity, the pathos too.

I've been thinking about this show since seeing it Sunday night. It's absolutely wonderful and this actor, Deacon Griffin-Pressley, is incredibly talented with a compelling presence. We were a small audience and he gave it his all -- full of emotion and energy! The issues at the heart of the show are the profound ones for every human being. Bravo!
