Description

A musically driven experience from the creators of My Beautiful Black Dog and Parakeet. SAD is an exploration into how life’s natural cycles and grief affect the human condition. Offering comfort at its lowest points and absolute freedom, joy and clarity when the light eventually floods. Inspiration for the project came when Gaz Tomlinson (Quiet Boy)'s mum died. This led Brigitte and Gaz to think about hibernation, light, cycles and leaves falling. Naturally, they turned to music to help with the grief; what was composed in this period is the foundation of the music and songs performed in SAD.

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
