Description

Love of Creation: Poetry’s power for the present. Spend an hour saturated in poetry led by Christine De Luca with music from Katharine Wake, flautist. Whether the natural world has us marvelling, lamenting or feeling consoled, poets from Wordsworth to MacCaig, Hopkins to Hardy have captured the mood. This session aims to reveal how poetry can play its part in contemporary environmental concerns by bringing to mind a sense of the natural world as creation and gift.
