On the Brink Theatre Company return to Edinburgh, their name having a deeper relevance than ever, with their alternative take on our critically fragile environment; influences happily drawn from Avenue Q and Robin Williams. A creative look at one of the most serious topics facing the world today, tomorrow and next year but probably not long after that. An eco-friendly show that tackles larger issues than the stage-lighting, the necessarily wasteful flyers and posters and the inevitable coffee cups left in the rehearsal room, that will inspire you to sing, laugh and save the world!

Relevant, thought- provoking, beautifully constructed, and well- performed. Mixing humour and variety with a serious theme and solutions, this is an incredible, original show.

Firstly, the performers here are outstanding, they have it all; sleek comic timing, gravitas, confidence, versatilty and total commitment to character. The show is then also superbly written and with the strength of the performers the whole thing unfolds seemlessly and it felt more like 15 minutes than 45. Mr Fox and Diesel were standout characters, I'm still laughing at them.

This is such a powerful show, so very relevant and not to be missed. As funny as it was, it also had me crying because the topic is hard-hitting and On The Brink have totally nailed the delivery.

Thank you for a great show. Enjoy the rest of you fringe run.

What a fab show! Really clever, really thought provoking and really funny! What a super group of young people, thoroughly enjoyed it!

As thought provoking as it is jaw-achingly funny, The Rubbish Show addresses world-changing issues with a mix of well timed comedy sketches, songs and observations shining a spotlight on the talented young cast and the problems that are theirs to fix in the future.

Don't expect this young company to entertain you with a show that's merely good. Expect them to provide you with an experience that excels among the best The Fringe has to offer.

We laughed until our faces ached. We gasped at their insight. We loved Diesel's Naan. We discovered Landville. And we never really liked Gary either...

This is a very funny show that surprises and delights. Absolutely recommended.
