Description

'A dazzling night of classy vintage swing and gypsy jazz played by a band that combines brilliant musicianship and warm personality' (JazzScotland.com). Led by virtuoso violinist and Scottish Jazz Awards 2017 Best Vocalist, Seonaid Aitken, the Glasgow-based ‘hot club’ swing band also features Scotland’s number one guitar maker Jimmy Moon on double bass, with Danny Kyle Award-winning swing guitarists Tam Gallagher and Tom Watson on rhythm and solo guitars respectively. Expect the effervescent sound of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli as they serve up a mix of 1930s standards, original music and gyspy-jazz favourites.
