Description

Stamptown Newcomer Award winner 2018, Roisin Crowley Linton returns to Edinburgh with her signature blend of achingly honest poetry, side-splitting stand-up and personal storytelling. Teenagers are weird. Being a teenager is weird. Working with teenagers is weird. Especially when you work at a youth club by day and perform comedy, poetry and burlesque by night. This time we're talking about growing up in Newcastle, how hard it is to be sexy and how the kids are alright. 'Some of the most impressive poetry and one-liners to be found' **** (EdFestMag.com).

Radio HA-HA (5/5 stars) 10 days ago

This has been one of the most phenomenal performances I have seen at the Fringe so far. Roisin Crowley Linton is the voice that we all need to hear. Discussing her experiences as a teenager, and how that’s influenced the way she works with teens in the arts, ‘Teenage Kicks’ is the perfect balance of heart and humour.

Roisin Crowley Linton presents a nostalgic hour of poetry, comedy and burlesque about being a teenage girl in this funny and touching show. It must be said that Linton is immediately likeable onstage; she’s an...
