Description

The closest I get to remembering my dreams are the ideas that occur during the thin veil between sleep and awake, where your mind wanders unimpeded and undirected. This is a collection of those ideas. Some will be funny. Some won't make sense. There will be some stuff on Belgian Surrealist René Magritte and a song full of penis synonyms about the Icelandic Phallological Society. Rob Kemp is the multiple award-winning, Edinburgh Fringe Best Newcomer-nominated creator of The Elvis Dead. This is not that. This is a new thing.

If you can get on Rob Kemp’s wavelength (which is easy) this show is a hoot of barely connected streams of consciousness. It brought to mind a young Jim Carey- even in Rob’s looks.

Possibly the funniest things we’ve seen so far if you don’t mind a bit of wired thinking.

Chortle (3.5/5 stars) 110 days ago

After losing his way with a previous attempt to follow up the cult, copyright-infringing hit The Elvis Dead, Rob Kemp has regained his mojo with this giddily silly one-man sketch show. Which, incidentally, has absolutely nothing to do with James Bond. If you were expecting another parody, look elsewhere. ...

The Wee Review (3/5 stars) 125 days ago

Creator of cult 2017 Fringe hit The Elvis Dead Rob Kemp returns to the Fringe for his third solo hour. In a show that despite its title contains almost no Bond whatsoever. Also, a show that is very different from The Elvis Dead in its almost complete absence of a...
