5 stars! Calm chaos and utterly brilliant. The most disappointing part of the show was hearing I had missed the nine shows that led to this. A poet for the ages and a must-see.

4,000 shows in Edinburgh (or something). Why this one?

Because - it's really funny. And - it's so much more than that.

This is Rob Auton's tenth themed Edinburgh show - and this time, it's all about him. Egotism? Definitely not. If you're not familiar with his work, don't expect straightforward, slick stand-up. His style of presentation has been described as that of "an under-prepared best man" - but for his trademark combination of comedy, poetry and sincerity, it works. It will make you laugh. But it will also make you think. And you may just leave his show feeling a tiny bit happier and more excited about the world than you were when you went in.

A unique talent, at the top of his game, and a must-see show.

This was quite an unusual show. As advertised, a combination of comedy and spoken word. Funny in parts, clever in others. Delivery could perhaps have been a bit better. Could he not ditch his voluminous notes? But I enjoyed it.

I loved this show definitely worth a watch a great way to start our Edinburgh experience this year.

Good god, this show. One of my favorites of all time, let alone the Fringe. Deeply evocative, side-splittingly hilarious, and totally unlike anything I have ever seen. Rob's sensibility is so unique and poetic, and this show reignited in me a childlike wonder about humanity and what it means to be alive. I didn't want it to end. Do yourself a favor and catch this before it leaves the Festival and Rob moves onto another incredibly inspired hour next year.

Rob isn’t just a giggle-a-minute man, but thoughtful, and endlessly fascinated by the world’s ‘magical everyday’
