Description

Playwright and comedian Ash Caton performs heroic poems from The Donaldiad – a cycle of fables set between 1946 and 2018. See the titular Donald rise from just your average-joe millionaire to warrior king and millionaire. On the way he witnesses the downfall of enemies, friends and family members – of pop stars, actors and presidents. Modelled on the Greek Myths, The Rise of Donald in 40 Downfalls tells the story of a century in celebrity culture, through the eyes and hair of its most golden son.
