Description
If someone tells you they love you, it's rude to ask why. But it's important. The night I met my partner I was wearing a child's t-shirt with glow-in-the-dark skeletons on it. And she fell in love with me. That should raise questions on both sides. Can you evaluate love objectively? Can there ever be a "right" person? What's the difference between "accepting yourself" and "giving up"? Look Who Loves Me is a show about being loved, and how sometimes that's quite difficult, actually. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Just took a random chance on a flyer handout, knowing nothing about Richard Spalding - so glad I did!
Had an absolute blast at the show and loved the concept! It was so refreshing to hear hilarious relationship stories that weren't bagging out the spouse, but dealing with the funny-but-true trials that come with a good relationship. No cheap jokes here, just a laugh out loud exploration of actual life experience.
We were told it was a "Work in Progress", but it felt pretty polished to us!
