Description

Where do gnus do their shopping? What are you supposed to do with broccoli? Where can you go in a time machine? Performance poetry, stories and songs for children (and adults, if they promise to behave). Very silly with lots of joining-in bits. Melanie Branton is a multi slam-winning spoken word artist with two published collections for adults who has featured at festivals including WOMAD, Bristol Harbour Festival and Valleyfest.

I absolutely loved this show, even though I'm not a kid! Melanie performed hilarious poems which the audience couldn't get enough of. She interacted with the kids in the audience in a wonderful manner which made them feel special, and her poems worked for kids, and people, of every age! The bit with the hats was hilarious, I would recommend this to anyone, no matter what their age!

Admittedly, there were only 2 kids at the performance we went to (plus 3 adults), but it was very hard going. A clever lady to have written lots of rhymes and remember (almost!) them, but it was all a little tedious to be honest.
Sorry!
