Description
Join everyman Rab McVie as he travels through richly textured, ever-changing painted landscapes, pursuing light in darkness, hope in a torn world. A dramatic dreamscape of live painting, live music and theatre. Directed by Maria Pattinson, driven by darkly atmospheric alt-rock music from post-punk soothsayers The Filthy Tongues (fronted by Goodbye Mr Mackenzie’s Martin Metcalfe) with strikingly creative paintings by AniMotion Show‘s Maria Rud and a spellbinding tour-de-force performance by Tam Dean Burn. 'Impressionistic collision of creative forces' **** (Herald). 'Unique and thought provoking' ***** (ArtsReviewsEdinburgh.com). 'Forceful and emotive' **** (AllEdinburghTheatre.com).Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
