Description

This summer, a hero will brew. Everyone loves The Remarkables, the heroes who protect Towntropolis, especially Wesley Bench. In fact, everyone loves them a little too much. A musical comedy of epic proportions. Exeter University's boldest musical theatre society, Shotgun Theatre, is the recipient of the 2014 Cameron Mackintosh Award for Best New Musical. Following their 4-star run of Godspell in 2017, they return with a brand new musical The Remarkables!.

Very good show, watched on Saturday. Thoroughly enjoyed script and take on classic superhero genre. Live band was superb and music was excellent. At times forgot it was student-written and led due to professional quality. Real shame it won't be back next year, would love to see it again.

Really fantastic show. Great script and music. Funny and very professional.
Clever characters and all well acted with an important message.
Particularly impressive given it's all student written and performed. Also loved the live band.
Definitely worth seeing.
