Description

Raul Kohli grew up with many heroes. All have been exposed as racists, sex pests and even vapers. From Louis CK to R Kelly to even his political champion, Gandhi. But is everyone that ever lived truly a horrid bag of shit? Or are society's standards changing at an exponential rate that humanity is just not ready for yet? Best Show nominee, Leicester Comedy Festival. 'Will leave you forever changed' (BroadwayBaby.com). ‘A powerful, passionate, open-minded, intelligent voice. It is superb political comedy and commentary’ (Scotsman).

One of the most shocking and thought-provoking shows I've seen this year, but not at the expense of being funny. Effective use of projections, and some toe-curling anecdotes interweaved with questions that most of us shy away from, but which sometimes need to be asked. Raul is a great performer and isn't afraid of confessing his own sins to frame and dissect some of the most difficult issues in modern life.

Though-provoking and hilarious. Relevant take on the current climate.

Raul Kholi outlines this show as offering ‘no solutions, just a series of questions’. And what a lot of questions he crams into the hour, covering public shaming, racism, sexual abuse, transgender identity, empathy, the rise of the populist right, the simplification of historical narratives and more – all in the...
