Description

Josh and Isabella are childhood sweethearts. They were meant to be together forever. But Isabella has now become a boy…. From playwright Evan Placey (Girls Like That), Pronoun follows a transgender teenager, exploring the impact on friends and family of an individual's decision to undergo gender transition. Dean (formerly Isabella), has asked everyone around him to treat him as the young man that he feels himself to be. But, while his friends are supportive, his mum and dad are struggling to understand Dean's experience for themselves. A love story about transition, testosterone, and James Dean.
