Extremely well written show, and Joey delivered his story in hilarious fashion!

Joey is, first and foremost, funny! He relates to the audience in a truly conversational and friendly way. He’s telling stories that are deeply personal but at the same time relatable and hilarious. I felt like I was spending time with an old friend! I cannot recommend this show highly enough. You’ll laugh, you may wince once or twice, but in the end you’ll clap your hands raw and hope that he’ll come back and tell you another.

Awesome story telling, funny story and such a welcoming environment. Immediately, as an audience member, I felt that Joey was a mate. Definitely need to go for a pint after!

Comedian, storyteller Joey Rinaldi immediately connected to the audience. He asked a few questions in a humorous fashion, got the info he needed and then tailored his very funny but also heart-warming story to this particular audience. Yes, the “incident” he describes is both painful and funny in his telling. He weaves a story of humiliation, family, first love, peer pressure, and the audience is as relieved as Joey at the awkward, happy ending. If he doesn’t tell the joke about his dad, make him! (he said he doesn’t always use it).
He doesn’t just re-tell his story, he re-lives it, and the difference between the two is what creates the audience connection.
Well done. Don’t miss it!

His storytelling was so vivid and engaging that I felt as if I had met his mother, or even gone back in time to meet the then 14-year-old Joey and know a thing or two about him, including that life-turning incident where he broke his penis and almost died.
