Description

A fun, young, provocative foursome raises the heat on the dance floor. They are looking to the future and wondering how it will feel when we get there. They have questions for you, things on their minds and a playlist of great songs that tug at the memory and the muscle fibres. Tell them what you think of the atmosphere, where you last danced your heart out and who you reckon is the coolest. Learn to do the Reverse Croissant. Expect sweat, sequins, and a thoughtfully upbeat take on what unites or divides us in these uncertain times.

To be completely upfront: it's basically impossible to do The Populars justice in a small space. Perhaps the best way to describe it is as a journey. You enter the room in darkness, slow jazz playing and the p...

So, you think you’re cool? The stage is non-existent, you’re stood beneath the pseudo-stage lights and it seems as though you might be a part of the performance… So, what exactly is this? The Populars is a genre-defying and glorious rejection of traditional form. Boldly creating its own rules, it...
