Description

Fairies have always enjoyed a close association with nature. But with the world under threat from climate change, the fairies are not pleased. In addition to making everything more fabulous, the fairies are revealing themselves in surprising ways – sharing wisdom, songs and a few spells that will be needed in the days ahead. Celebrated actor Celeste Lecesne ('One of the most talented solo performers of their generation' (New York Times)) weaves the legend of fairies and their magical ability to survive with the world history of repression.

10/10 Highly recommend. Inspired. Truly a work of art for those privy enough to appreciate it its brilliance!
Poof! combines the inspiration of The Artists Way with the magic of fairies into this one of kind theatrical masterpiece. (I don’t know if its actually connected to the Artists Way, but this show seemed to me like a delightful intersection of fairy magic from Peter Pan and thoughtful inspiration from The Artist’s Way.
It is clearly a work of art - the script is thoughtful and well written. Celeste’s masterful performance shows real stage craft and years of mastery in the performing arts. I trust Celeste to perform at an expert level and perfectly layer serious issues like addiction, queer struggle etc with theaterical energy to entertain, motivate, and connect.
