This was absolutely fantastic. The show a few years ago with music from dsotm and the wall was great, but the visuals were a bit dated. This was a whole new production commissioned by pink Floyd for the anniversary. There were points in this where the perspective shifted and I generally felt like I had to hold onto my seat a little. I'd happily go and see this again if it tours or if it's on at the fringe next year. As a bonus, the pink Floyd themed cocktails in the bar were a great idea. The Dark Side Of The Moon one was delicious!

★★★★☆ Solid performance
Best enjoyed if you are already a fan of Pink Floyd!
THE GOOD
* Amazing music track, as expected.
* Incredibly immersive planetarium screen.
* Cosmic & psychedelic visuals perfectly matched the album's mood.
THE NOT SO GOOD
* Great sound quality but could be louder for full immersion.
* The visuals for some songs lack identity and an overarching story.
* Craved for higher resolution renders.

I am actively not a fan of Pink Floyd music, but went with my husband who loves this album. I found the graphics extremely impressive. Would recommend sitting closer to the back to avoid next strain.

A must-see for Floyd fans, but I expected trippier/more spacey visuals rather than the CG animation. Not as immersive as I would've hoped, but still a great time

Planetarium Lates: Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (****)
I had imagined that this would be some laser light show, but instead found a 2023 animation that was combination of the first visit to the moon and a psychedelic trip. It was well done, and the music has held up over time. There is one scene of an approaching sandstorm that had me on the edge of my very comfortable seat.
This is the 8th most enjoyable of the 28 shows I have seen so far at the Fringe this year. I hope to see almost 200. You may see my other three-sentence reviews, in order from most enjoyable to worst, at my non-commercial website: https://fringefan.com/
