Description

A humble shed; four young idealists form a political party to save the world from itself. The fifth just wants his cake. It's small minds tackling big issues – China, sex trafficking, cycle lanes, unfair trade, whether to call themselves The Friendly Party or Gladios. And when, exactly, they eat cake. Witty, fast-paced and a brilliant political satire, Party is the award-winning debut play by actor and playwright Tom Basden (Plebs, Fresh Meat, The Wrong Mans).

I really enjoyed this witty political satire presented by a talented young cast.

Saw this last night and loved it! Excellent performances by a young, energetic and talented cast. Two shows remaining so see it while you can.

Loved this pacey comedy, superbly performed by a talented cast who delivered the very funny script brilliantly. Only two more opportunities to catch it, don't miss out!

Pin sharp production of a very funny play. The talented young cast keep the pace rollicking along and fulfill all the potential of Tom Basden's hilarious script with snappy dialogue and fractious characterisations. There is never a dull moment in this laugh out loud comedy which went down a storm at the Bath Fringe. Do go see, it will not disappoint!
