Description

Have you ever wondered what the people on the other side of your wall are talking about? Two couples separated by a paper-thin wall, Max and Billie have been friends forever but is there more to their feelings? Jo and Sammy are engaged but their bliss stands on shaky ground. The same night, the same time, two different stories: a few misunderstandings, some tarot cards, a paper-thin wall, and 20 minutes. The same 20 minutes. A heart-warming peek into the lives of young people grappling with the highs and lows of day-to-day romance.

I loved this! Sweet, funny, great dialogue and a great concept, but the actors made it for me. Authentic and perfectly pitched. Brilliantly done.

Another piece of excellent theatre from QMTC! I loved the way the two stories interwove and examined, with empathy and sensitivity, the different stages of love. I don't want to give too much away as a spoiler, but this is a play which will resonate with anyone and everyone. The excellent performances from the four leads really brought the already strong writing to life. Fabulous theatre!

A profound drama about the ecstasy of fledgling love and the reality of a love grown cold. This production boasts incredible performances from its four leads, well suited in their naturalism to the intimacy of its performance space. A true fringe gem.

Student plays are always a bit of a gamble - this one was well worth the punt to fill that mid afternoon gap. Well-observed witty dialogue & engaging performances made the audience properly laugh and I don’t think I was the only one wiping away a few tears.
There are no gimmicks and I like that, a brief look into other people’s lives and loves which drew me right into their stories.
