Description

The feelings and concerns of women are very much in our thoughts at the moment and their songs have always been at the centre of our tradition. For their 2018 Fringe show at AMC, Ribbon Road present a new set of songs written by Brenda Heslop for and about women telling some of their stories. The writing is inspired by this year's work with Newcastle University and women's groups looking into domestic abuse. Tears and laughter in good times and bad, sung with harmony of feeling in the special Ribbon Road fashion.
