Description

Origins is presented by the UK Dance School of the Year, Fiona Henderson School of Dance (FHSD). It is a special performance piece encompassing a variety of dance genres including contemporary, ballet, commercial, modern and highland. Origins is especially curated for the Edinburgh Fringe 2023 and performed by senior FHSD Dancers. It is the culmination of a week-long summer 'dance intensive' in which the performers learn a series of new pieces then develop them to performance level by the end of the preparation week to give this special one-off performance. FHSD has twice earned the Fringe sell-out laurel.

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
