Description

Fringe debut for new immersive comedy by the makers of Faulty Towers the Dining Experience. Join the pride of Peckham in a fun-filled knees-up as the Trotters try to drum up some cash in a night of wheeling, dealing and plenty of laughs. Deals are brokered, schemes are hatched and quizzes quizzed in a downright t’riffic event with some cushty pub grub. With one-off improvisation, an original script and side-splitting humour, this is ‘hugely entertaining’ **** (Stage). ‘It’s a hoot!’ (Time Out London). You’d be a plonker to miss it!

A future classic! The best evening entertainment with comedy and dinner... A real feel good and brilliant acting with great humour. We think a must see!

What a fantastic evening! Two hours (three if you count drunks and desserts and cast photos, which they do after the show, in character, around each table) of frantic fun. From the moment I spotted Cassandra mingling with us in the bar, pre show, to Del boy's appearance, followed by Rodney - just so funny! The actors play two roles each and are just superb in their interpretation. All of them were believable and so talented, and I felt liked was in an episode. The meal isn't bad, small cake for dessert but after soup and sausage and mash you're full. I had veggie but the meat sausage was huge! Really good value for a while evening's entertainment. Go, you won't regret it!

Wow, just WOW ! What an incredible night. From start to finish it felt like we were in an episode of 'Only Fools' The actors work their socks off and developed such a fantastic rapport with the audience. Del learnt everyone's names and really made an effort to include each team. I have never felt that I was part of a show before. This is a very special show with just the right mix of belly laughs and pathos. I want to give a big shout out to the cast. Boycies one liners were so sharp, Rodney was spot on and played off Del really well. Trigger made a brief but funny appearance, Cassandra asked me for dating advice and was really believable in her relationship with Rodney. No spoilers but the ending was so sweet ! We all absolutely loved Marlene and her vibrating phone. And Del/Albert was incredible. I could write about this for pages, but in summary this is a real Fringe Gem. Immersive, intimate, funny AND you get fed. The food is basic pub grub but its filling and very much in keeping with Delboy and his culinary skills ! We were there for my Dads birthday and he left grinning from ear to ear. Highly recommended Fringe fun ! Thankyou.

Disappointing show. Go to fawlty towers and get a decent meal. The food was awful. Sausage and mash. No veg. Small piece of cake. Not worth the money.

We went to the show yesterday and it is not to be missed, I feel like I have just lived an episode of Only Fools and Horses! To make it even better I had been expecting to see them perform on some sort of a stage but it actually happened around you with some great audience participation. A great show, get yourself along.

The scripted moments are well thought out and I confess to being rather moved, particularly by the Marlene and Boycie storyline, but it’s the ad libbing and audience interaction where the talent and sharp wit of the cast really shines. A fun, sociable and feel good show, inevitably everything comes up cushty.

Come for the fun, the genuine nostalgia of the era and the TV show and for the unique experience of feeling like you’ve actually had an evening in the company of Derek Trotter and co.

Undoubtedly, one of the best things I have ever seen; so, so real – as if you were actually with the Trotters as they got up to one of their capers. They had great audience participation, with my Cassi being brave enough to get up and become part of the show. Well done guys, I have been a lifelong fan of Only Fools and Horses and you absolutely smashed it! I could not have asked for a better start to the festival or for a better way to impress my girlfriend – 5 stars out of 5 and a pure 10 out of 10 – thank you Imagination Workshop!
