Description

Written and performed by Obehi Janice, Nova follows a Nigerian-American comedian navigating desire, pussy and power. Inspired by the tales and trials of noted provocateur Giacomo Casanova, Nova takes us through her history of romantic encounters with cunning, humor and charm. Obehi Janice is an award-winning writer, actress and comedian whose multi-genre work spans from stage to screen (including Blindspotting on Starz and Dicktown on FX). Nova is directed by Caitlin Sullivan, dramaturged by Nissy Aya and produced by Pemberley Productions and the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, in association with PW Productions.

Was so excited to see Obehi again after having seen her one woman show in Boston almost a decade ago. She did not disappoint. Nova was hilarious yet with some really heart wrenching bits! And so so clever. Obehi has such a presence and you should absolutely buy tickets for her show!
