Description

Re-creating the classical Lion Dance and Chinese Opera as contemporary performance, this dynamic Kung-Fu dance-circus mixes beat-boxing, martial arts, tricks and parkour. Live beat-boxing replaces traditional Asian percussive music. Experience the historical and present-day cultures of Asia through a vibrant journey of discovery and transformation, highlighting the common bonds of humanity. Made in Hong Kong. Opening act, New York Times Square New Year’s Eve 2023. Winner, Best Show, Asian Arts Awards 2022. ‘No Dragon No Lion isn't just a spectacle, but an exploration of Hong Kong’s soul, a dance between the past and the present’ (FringeBiscuit.com).
