Model, singer of Velvet Underground, muse of Andy Warhol, mother, heroin addict, rock composer, actress. Nico, in her short life, met success, fortune, hardships, loves, myths, misfortunes, adventures and is universally considered founder of gothic rock. The project reveals who Nico really was while recalling eight male figures, eight crucial meetings in Christa’s life. The writing of the text is led by her relationship to men’s world, the contradiction and the provocation of her statement: 'I have no regrets. Except that I was born a woman instead of a man', while investigating the complexity of her experience.
