Nick Doody – The Difficult Twelfth Album

Comedy (stand-up, spoken word)

Venue Age Restriction: Strictly 18+ after 21:00

Description

For his twelfth solo hour of stand-up, Nick Doody returns to the Fringe with a blistering new show that takes in life in Happy Valley, the rise of Artificial Intelligence, living with the cutest dog in the world, and finally answers the question: which is the best minority group to offend? Familiarity with Nick's previous 11 shows is helpful but not necessary to enjoy this one. 'Simply the best unadulterated, gimmick-free hour of pure stand-up I've seen this Fringe' (Chortle.co.uk).

Absolutely hilarious. Genuinely had me in crying with laughter; brilliantly funny with excellently crafted jokes.

If you can watch this man live, you definitely should!

Also has a cute dog.

Superlative stand up from Nick. Expertly crafted gags, wry & clever observations, some political commentary. One of the absolute best on top form.

He's been a writer for many top (but decidedly inferior) comedians for years and boy does it show. Excellent

Absolutely brilliant. Expertly crafted set filled with hilarious jokes that made me wish I'd seen the other eleven. So good, I had to go twice.

Amazing show, painfully funny. By far the best show I have seen here in Edinburgh
