Description

Set in a TV studio, [email protected] puts history straight! Roving reporters get to the bottom of history's biggest stories. Fast-moving and wacky, this one-woman comic show races across time from one breaking story to the next! Historical fact mixes with modern technology – screen, sound effects and music as anchorwoman Alice Roberts interviews live celebs from the past (spoilers: Anne Boleyn in a life jacket; Richard III's parking fine). This show is a belly full of laughs – accessible to all. Totally unique and jolly good fun!

I first saw this show when it debuted at the 2018 Fringe and I just had to come back this year for more! The fast-paced, hilarious and even educational content is sure to captivate any audience member. This show will never get old...

Saw the show today - whole family loved it. Fast paced mix of historical fact and deranged antics of the anchor and interviewees (same person) that is all really rather hilarious !

A great show! Whether you are a history lover or not, this show will make you laugh from start to finish. The chemistry between the news anchor (Alice Roberts) and the news correspondents (also Alice Roberts) was hilarious. Looking forward to another news update at the 2020 fringe...

Would highly recommend after seeing a performance of this show last year - it was incredible - so original and very funny. Suitable for all ages and the perfect Fringe treat! Alice is a very talented comedian!

There is a load of excellent material in this show but it's a bit let down by the presentation which could be tighter. I'm not entirely sure that Alice has quite nailed it. But, concentrate on the first part - this is a great idea with lots of real, laugh-out-loud moments.
