Description

An art exhibition documenting journeys out of homelessness in Scotland, which aims to change the perception of homelessness by exploring how we depict the practical and structural aspects of presenting as homeless, as well as the emotional journey of losing housing to feeling "whole again”. Homelessness is a journey and not a constant state. Crisis members and staff present a wide range of experiences to show how varied homelessness is and how the public encounters stereotypes. 'This is the reality – this is how it works, and it shouldn’t work like this.'
