Description

Nàdar / Prakriti is the first solo UK exhibition by Indian artist Ravi Agarwal. Through new print commissions, Agarwal responds to current conversations about rural and urban sustainability and the various challenges posed to nature in Scotland and India. His work examines community-led attempts to 're-wild' or 'take back' nature in rural and urban contexts. Agarwal has a diverse and interdisciplinary practice as an artist, environmental activist, writer and curator. He works primarily with photographs, video, installations and public art. This project is supported by the British Council and Creative Scotland, with partnership support from the John Muir Trust.
