Description

Arbroath-born Morris Pert (1947-2010) was best known for his session work with Kate Bush, Mike Oldfield and many others. But he was also an award-winning composer of three orchestral symphonies and other classical works. This programme gives the opportunity to hear his two late piano suites: Standing Stones – an evocation of six ancient monuments in Scotland; and Mountains which depicts the dramatic landscape of Sutherland where he latterly resided.

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: There is a permanent ramp from the street to the door on a very easy gradient and after that everything including the disabled toilet can be accessed via level access.

    • Wheelchair access type: Permanent Ramp, Level Access

  • Stairs: 2 - 5
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
