Description
A rare chance to hear the music of two of jazz's great innovators. So exciting for listeners, but challenging for musicians, bebop fizzed with lightning-fast rhythms and super-musical technique. They set the musicianship bar as high as they possibly could, and hardly anyone has touched it since. Constant rhythmic and harmonic excitement, from fiery bebop to Latin grooves with passionate soloing. Kershaw and Steele take the title roles alongside a crack rhythm section of Pete Johnstone/Dave Milligan (piano), Brian Shiels (bass) and Max Popp (drums). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
